We are providing a brilliant development programme for our Clinical Support Workers and AHP Support Workers so that they feel valued and supported, with opportunities to upskill and flourish.

We are looking for a Training and Pastoral Support Assistant who understands their roles and can offer pastoral support to enable them to develop and progress. Experience in Healthcare is essential, as well as the ability to mentor, coach and deliver training. You will be a real people's person and find it easy to build rapport and create effective relationships.

You will be highly organised and have a proactive approach to problem solving, finding new and creative solutions in order to deliver key elements of the project.

Full time - 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

  • Support new starters to the role, signpost them to training and careers, whilst checking in with them throughout the first six months of a Heart of Care Preceptorship
  • Organise and deliver training sessions and events related to the Heart of Care programme
  • Create communications that can be sent out by email or on social media
  • Be a source of contact and support for enquiries related to the role
  • Feedback on specific elements of the programme to the Project Manager
  • Collate information and data for reports and evaluation
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

This is a chance to be involved in an innovative programme, creating and developing new approaches which will positively impact on patient care. You will be a team player and will bring attributes such as empathy and listening skills, utilizing them to make this project truly effective.
