Job summary

Opportunity for 2 x Clinical lead Band 6 Nurses in Tissue Viability.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced RGNs to become part of our Tissue Viability Team due to expanding the service within the mental health inpatient areas.

Covering CWP inpatient wards for Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

The post holder will be expected to provide specialist tissue viability advice, support education and training for staff, patients, carers and family. This should be based on knowledge of relevant evidence, current research, good practice, and policy development, using a quality improvement methodology. Working collaboratively with the wider health service.

Hours - full and part time hours will be considered.

**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

The relocation package is for anyone who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

To be eligible for the relocation payment, you must live more than 40 miles from the base/location of the post you are applying for and you would need to relocate to within 15 miles of the new base.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who have experience and knowledge in wound care and leg ulcer management and will have completed a tissue viability module or willing to complete one.

The successful candidates will be reporting to the Tissue Viability Team leader, delivering evidence-based practice and be able to work independently and autonomously within clinical practice, having oversight of a patient caseload, but also supporting the strategic role of developing our Tissue Viability Service and collaborating on physical health work across the trust.

Good interpersonal skills are essential as you will be communicating with a wide range of health professionals involved in the patients care. Training and education will also be delivered to staff, patients, and carers.

Travel is an integral part of this post you must be prepared to travel across the Cheshire and Wirral CWP footprint which covers Wirral, Chester, Macclesfield and Alderley.
