Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available in a new OD team in Corporate WOD. The main purpose of this role is to support all OD activities, to upskill managers, focus on development for all and ensure One Culture of Care is at the heart of everything that is designed and delivered. This role will be vital in ensuring that the Trusts learning and organisational development package is accessible, will enhance capability and provide learning and development support for all colleagues. We are looking for colleagues would would be confident in delivering learning and development programmes, one culture of care charters, develop page tiger materials, engage with stakeholders and provide support and resources for managers to deliver engagement events and initiatives.

Job responsibilities
- Attending and contributing to relevant forums and committees as required
- Play a key role in the promotion, engagement and colleague participation of OD programmes and initiatives such as leadership development programmes, Work Together, Get Results, diagnostic tools (360 degree assessments; MBTI), coaching and action learning sets
- Support the ED&I agenda and related activities such as communication, colleague engagement, workshops, networks and development
- Ensure all governance and regulatory requirements are met and maintained in an efficient and professional manner such as Care Quality Commission (CQC) evidence and other statutory requirements
- Ensure an effective onboarding programme is implemented and well led, ensuring regular contact is made with supervisors/team leaders, to ensure a robust framework is managed and folowed and ensure all new recruits have the appropriate induction, statutory and essential safety training, risk assessments and support
- Undertaking project work as directed by the OD Lead
- Any other duties at an equivalent level of responsibility as may be allocated to the job or delegated for the jobholders development

- CIPD Qualification/Post Graduate HR Qualification or working towards qualification or significant experience
- To maintain own CPD ensuring that knowledge and understanding is reviewed and updated to enable appropriate and relevant advice is provided.
Desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Essential
- Proven experience of providing OD and Learning and Development advice in all aspects of colleague experience
- Influencing and supporting line managers to manage informal and formal development related issues.
- Ability to deliver OD and Learning and Development projects.
- Up to date with employment law and best practice.
- Able to interpret and implement HR policies and procedures
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing plans to address them
- Understanding of the NHS and the NHS HR agenda
- Competent in Microsoft Office, able use the internet for research purposes
- Advanced keyboard skills - the ability to gather data from ESR and manipulate this using Excel
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
