Job summary

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible working opportunity that allows you to make a real impact? Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) is seeking 2 full time HR Business Partners (HRBP) to join our Operational HR Teams within the Famillies and Specialist Service and Medicine Divisons.

As HRBP, you will provide senior-level Workforce and Organisational Development support across the assigned Division. Working closely with divisional leaders to align HR strategies with key service delivery objectives.You will partner with the Senior Management Team and lead a dedicated HR team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services that support workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and staff engagement.

Interview will be taking place on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th December 2025.

  • Educated to Masters level acquired through degree and professional HR qualifications or able to demonstrate appropriate equivalent experience of highly specialist knowledge in a HR Business Partner role to masters level.
  • Member of the Chartered institute of personnel and Development.
  • Ability to demonstrate completion of leadership courses and have relevant experience working at a senior level providing HR advice

Desirable

  • Advanced Microsoft Office qualification in Excel / Access
  • Accredited coach/mentor

Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience in a senior HR role in a large diverse organisation including experience of HR service delivery and performance management
  • Clear understanding of the major issues affecting the NHS HR agenda
  • Experience of contributing to strategy development
  • Experience of delivering coaching / training to managers
  • Significant experience / knowledge of employment law and its application in employment practice
  • Experience of leading the management of change
  • Experience of negotiating policy development / T&C's with trade union reps, full time officers
  • Demonstrable evidence of continuous development
  • Able to build credibility quickly and to work with all grades of staff within the Trust
