QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING

Essential

  • Educated to NVQ III in administration or equivalent level of experience
  • English and Math GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent

Desirable

  • RSA Word Processing and Audio Transcription

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Essential

  • Significant experience working in a busy office environment (to deadlines and targets)
  • Advanced keyboard skills, must have good and accurate inputting skills
  • Ability to deal with conflicting workloads and timescales
  • Awareness of confidentiality
  • Ability to make informed judgements and make careful analysis of situations
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of 18 week RTT
  • Awareness of Local and National NHS guidelines
  • Able to work with a multidisciplinary framework

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and report on data
  • Knowledge of EPR and Bluespier
  • An understanding of waiting list management
  • An understanding of medical terminology
