Job summary
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, self motivated Quality Manager within CHFT's Pathology Department to work alongside the exsisting Quality Manager for 2 days per week. The Pathology Department is across two hospital sites (Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital) and all areas of the pathology sevice are currently UKAS accredited.
We are looking for a qualified HCPC Biomedical Scientist who has previous quality management experience and is looking to specialise in overall quality management at the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. Ensuring ongoing compliance with UKAS, relevant ISO, MHRA Blood Safety and Quality Regulations, and HTA accreditation bodies, supported by and part of the pathology quality management team.
Main duties of the job
You will have experience of pathology quality management, well developed interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with other members of the team and be registered with HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist. The department is commited to the training and development of all staff.
The successful candidate will ensure the implementation, development and maintenance of the pathology quality management system (QMS) and its correct functioning is in line with Trust Policy and all standards laid down by external regulators and assessment organisations.
