An exciting opportunity has arisen for aspirant band 6 sister/charge nurse to support the senior team in Ward 5a - General Medicine.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and take on a new challenge. Flexibility and willingness to embrace new ways of working dependent on service needs is an essential part of the role.
To provide clinical and managerial leadership for nursing and support staff
To deputise for the Departmental Manager in their absence
To take a lead on clinical practice and departmental issues
To work clinically in all areas of the department.

- Significant experience as a Band 5 registered nurse within a hospital setting

- Recent experience working within Acute Medicine
- Recent experience in undertaking staff appraisals
- Knowledge of Acute Medicine
- Involvement in Quality Improvement initiatives
