Job summary
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) is recruiting up to four General Practitioners with a Special Interest in Ear, Nose, and Throat (GPwSI) to join our growing ENT medical team.
Main duties of the job
The Role:
As a GPwSI in ENT, you will play a vital role in delivering outpatient clinics, providing specialist advice, and working closely with ENT consultants and primary care colleagues to improve pathways and patient outcomes. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting outpatient ENT clinics (averaging two per week);
- Triaging referrals and offering Advice & Guidance to primary care;- Providing education & training to GPs and healthcare professionals;- Developing care pathways to integrate ENT services within primary care and the community;- Contributing to service improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration.
