Job summary
We are currently looking for keen and motivated Nurse to recruit into a Band 6 post. You must be an RN with a minimum 2 years post registration experience within an emergency department. You will also hold a qualification in Mentoring/ Slip.You will be required to have effective leadership skills, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills and evidence of professional development is a must. The successful candidate will be required to shift lead and maintain the flow of the department in a safe and efficient manner. You will be expected to work across site.
Main duties of the job
You will joining the emergency departments covering two sites, that currently see on average 500 patients a day (cross site). This is an extremely busy, but exciting time to join the trust as we are currently working towards the new configuration. Both departments consist of Triage/Rapid Assessment, Resuscitation Room, Majors and Minor Injuries/Illness.
