Job summary

To provide support to nursing team to assist in nutrition and hydration of patients, along with daily cleaning duties, monitoring stock levels.

Main duties of the job

Exciting opportunity has arisen on the Oncology and Haematology Helpline for a housekeeper role on our busy unit. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team providing a high standard of care to our patients. The role is vital for the smooth running of the ward. Housekeeper roles will include: The delivery of cleaning, stocking up and monitoring stock levels. Monitoring quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes. Supporting the ward nurses with providing meals and hydration for patients. Documentation of diet and fluid delivery.
