Job summary
CHFT are looking for Physiotherapists to join our Band 5 rotation. We are looking to recruit to a number of positions to fill in the near future and so would welcome applications from qualified Physiotherapists.
Our rotational Physiotherapists are offered supervision and training as they move through a variety of rotations in hospital and community settings. Rotations offered include:
MSK Outpatients, Respiratory, Stroke (in-patient and community), Acute In-patients (Medicine and Surgery), Community Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care and Reablement.
Candidates must have previous NHS experience either as an under graduate or post graduate to be eligible to apply for this post.

Essential
- Relevant Degree/Diploma
- Registered with HCPC
- Basic understanding of Clinical Governance.
- Awareness of relevant Legislation, NSF'S/ Local and National initiatives
- Candidate must have previous NHS experience as a postgraduate or undergraduate
Desirable
- Member of Professional Body
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Essential
- Undergraduate/post graduate experience in a wide range of clinical areas
- Can demonstrate good clinical reasoning skills
- Evidence of CPD and reflective practice
- Critical Appraisal Skills
- Ability to maintain legible and accurate records.
Desirable
- Presentation skills
- Previous experience working at Band 5 level.
COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIPS (INCLUDING MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES)

- Demonstrates positive attitude and behaviours
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people with complex difficulties
