Job summary

Band 6 Sister/Charge nurse working on ward 14 general surgery, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Under the Supervision of the ward manager.

Main duties of the job

To support the Senior Sister in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care and services for a variety of patients.

To provide clinical and managerial leadership for nursing and support staff and to take responsibility in the absence of the Senior Sister.
