Permanent post, 36 hours
A rare and exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic physiotherapist to join our friendly Women's Health team. This is a small but highly skilled team, seeing an obstetric and gynaecological caseload of patients. The postholder will assist in helping shape Women's Health Physiotherapy services in line with latest guidelines and provide support and training to the wider physiotherapy team.
We seek a reliable individual with strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and offer support for training and development as required for this post.

Main duties of the job
Main Tasks
To act as specialist clinician for the Physiotherapy Service in Women's Health, supporting the clinical lead with evolving and embedding best practice into the clinical are
To manage own specialist caseload in this area.
Work autonomously within Trust policies and professional practice, maintaining accurate and comprehensive up to date records.
To carry out specialist assessment and treatment of Women's Health patients in the Acute hospital setting, facilitating risk assessed and timely discharges and contributing to MDT aims.
To perform specialist assessment and treatment of Women's Health patients in an Outpatient setting
Determine a clinical diagnosis, develop, deliver, implement, evaluate and modify individualised treatment programmes and/or provide specialist advice, ensuring appropriate pathways of care and communication via liaison and referral to other agencies as required.
Take part in the education and training of Physiotherapists and qualified and non-qualified healthcare / social services / education staff including medical staff.
To support the Clinical Leads/ Team Leader in the day to day running of the Women's Health therapy team.
To support and advise within the wider MDT on the delivery of the service
