Job summary
This is exciting opportunity to join a motivated and forward thinking upper GI team as a Specialist Upper GI Dietitian. The service focuses on patients with complex needs either in relation to their diagnosis or as a result of ongoing treatments or disease progression. You will be responsible for comprehensive assessment and dietetic treatment of your patients. The main referral group will be upper gastrointestinal and Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) patients and you will be integrated into the Upper GI MDT, working closely with the Specialist nurses.
The post holder needs sound knowledge and skill in the treatment of patients with complex dietary needs, including enteral feeding. We are constantly looking at improving our way of working and responding to the changing models in both cancer care and AHP practice.
