Job summary

We have a wonderful Band 3 opportunity to work as a part time (22.5hours)Administrator in our Neurodiversity Service which sits within the Children,Family and All Age Services. This role will be working across the Autism Assessment Team and the ADHD team.

You will join a friendly and supportive service, who are passionate and forward thinking about neurodiversity. You will work as part of a welcoming administration team to support the effective operation of the CYP Neurodiversity Service. You will provide flexible support as needed across the service and will provide the required administrative support to ensure that clinical services are delivered efficiently, and children, young people and families receive a seamless and timely service.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the effective operation of the Neurodiversity Service, ensuring that administrative and data functions are delivered and run smoothly for the service.

  • Act as a central point of contact for families and professionals, maintaining effective communication channels across the service, including procedures for answering telephones and taking messages and monitoring and responding to emails

  • Foster and maintain relationships with families and professionals

  • Assist the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective procedures

  • Arrange individual and multidisciplinary appointments for service users and the associated logging, confirmations and other necessary activities.

  • Ensure efficient and accurate data is recorded on all electronic systems,in particular RiO electronic records, which conforms to necessary policies, processes and protocols

  • Format/type/send out confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within an agreed timescale using software packages

  • Provide general administrative support, including diary management of clinics

  • Support the activities and work of the Team Leads, Service Lead and Business Support Manager as and when required

  • Assist in the collection, processing and presentation of data as needed to support service leads and managers.
