Job summary

Are you an organised and confident administrator looking for a varied role where your work helps support inclusion, staff experience and day-to-day team delivery?

We are looking for an Inclusion and Equity Administrator to join Berkshire Healthcare's EDI team. This is an important administrative role supporting the smooth running of the team's work, including support to our equality staff networks, meetings and events, shared mailboxes, workplace adjustment administration, records, trackers and communications.

This role would suit someone who enjoys a busy and varied workload, can manage competing priorities, and is able to work with accuracy, professionalism and sensitivity. You will need strong organisational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power Automate and SharePoint.

You will be part of a team that works across a wide range of inclusion and equity priorities and staff engagement activity. Much of the role can be carried out through hybrid working, with some travel across Trust sites as required.

Main duties of the job

You will provide day-to-day administrative support to the EDI team and our equality staff networks.This will include:

  • Supporting the coordination of meetings,eventsand activities

  • Preparing papers,agendasand documents

  • Takingaccuratenotes and minutes and circulating actions

  • Maintaining inboxes, trackers,recordsand confidential case files

  • Supporting the administration of reasonable adjustments

  • Responding to routine queries and signposting appropriately

  • Helping with the distribution of communications and information

  • Supporting the practical setup of events and moving materials between sites where needed

  • Carrying out general office and administrative tasks to support the team's work

You will work within agreed processes, use initiative appropriately, and escalate complex or sensitive matters where needed.
