We are looking for an Advanced Mental Health Practitioner to join us for a 12 month FCT.
The CAMHS CiC is established to ensure that children who are in care receive quicker access to mental health support. We do this by working in partnership and sharing knowledge, to effectively meet theirs and their carers needs by providing evidenced based interventions.
In this role you will be working in a trauma informed model across multiple agencies and services. You will support in; trauma informed care, Creating stability of the Child or Young person's home placement, maintaining relationships with family members, reaching as high as possible Education achievements, creating local social networks and fostering strong relationships.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of and contribute to a newly developing and innovative service. You will receive direct clinical supervision from an experienced Clinical Psychologist as well as having the opportunity to gain experience in mentalisation based approaches as well as systemic ways of working.
These posts supports the interface with partner agencies and specialist CAMHS.

- Recognised and relevant qualification as below: Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Social Worker or Occupational Therapist Or Speech and Language Therapist
- Registration with NMC or HCPC or other recognised professional body

- Significant post-qualifying experience of undertaking comprehensive assessment of mental health needs, developing care plans and offering appropriate support based on formulation of presenting difficulties.
- Experience of working with service users with high risk presentations and undertaking risk assessment and risk management plans.
- Experience of hard-to-reach diverse community groups and individuals with emerging complex needs, dual diagnoses, people with additional disabilities and safeguarding.
