An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic psychology graduate who has experience of working with children / young people to join the CAMHS Tier 4 Service as an Assistant Psychologist.
A good understanding of clinical risk and safeguarding in the context of child and adolescent mental health is essential.
All young people who are accepted to the service will follow a structured programme, in line withrelevantNICE guidelines (for exampleanorexia nervosa, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation).Interventions are delivered by a multi-disciplinary clinical team comprising of: Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Dietitian, Family Therapist, Teaching staff, Support staff including Assistant Psychologists, Clinical Support Staff, Activity Co-ordinator, Administrators and Managerial Support.
The successful candidate will join the multi-disciplinary team and play a role in supporting the delivery of the structured clinical programme and psychological provision for the service. This may include supporting assessments, the effective use of routine outcome measures, and direct individual, group and/or family work, under appropriate supervision. The role may include contributing to multiagency meetings, clinical administration, audit and service development, and the training of others.
Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for collecting and inputting accurate information relating to service performance and e.g. diagnosis, various outcomes measures including CORC and Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs), maintaining effective ROM records and spreadsheets, and liaison with QNIC ROM.
