We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our very well-established All Age Eating Disorders Service .We have two part time vacancies. Each vacancy is 3 days a week to provide cover across the week, Monday-Friday, 9-5.

You will play an important role, under the guidance of a qualified GP, providing and delivering phlebotomy, ECG and routine physical monitoring to child and adult patients referred to eating disorders and mental health services. You will provide quality, care and support which enables patients to be supported with a recovery focus throughout their care episode, whilst promoting independence and protecting choice, dignity, privacy, and safety. All necessary training will be provided.

Our service covers the county of Berkshire.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be required to perform a range of venepuncture techniques and will work without direct supervision.

The postholder will be required to perform ECG and other routine physical monitoring observations.

The postholder is required to liaise with clinicians, other healthcare professionals including laboratory staff, with patients and their representatives and with commercial suppliers.
