Head of Service for Talking Therapies: Consultant Lead Clinical/Counselling Psychologist at Outstanding NHS Trust: Band 8D, 37.5 hours/week
Berkshire Healthcare delivers award winning Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression services, commissioned by the BOB and Frimley ICBs.
This is an exciting role for an experienced Consultant Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist to lead our successful and innovative clinical and digital Talking Therapies provision. The role offers opportunities for service development, and we are seeking an exceptional individual who will work directly with service teams and stakeholders to take this flagship service forward under the new government initiatives.
You will join a supportive and enthusiastic senior leadership team and be part of a strong collaborative network of psychological leads across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

Overall responsibility for the clinical, operational and professional standards in Talking Therapies, ensuring that the service meets key performance indicators and has effective clinical, quality and performance governance, including digital systems and processes, in line with accreditation requirements.

Leading the development of Talking Therapies to maximise its contribution, ensuring developments are aligned with Trust, local systems and national strategy, policy and practice drivers.

Developing and operationally managing the Trust delivery model for the national Talking Therapies strategy, within the Frimley ICS, BOB ICS and wider system partners. This will include new business, relevant clinical developments (including therapeutic models and delivery modalities) and Talking Therapies long term expansion.
