Job summary

The Adult Autism and ADHD service within Berkshire Healthcare is looking for an administrator to work in our clinic at 25 Erleigh Road, Reading.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible, dedicated to delivering high quality care and enjoy working as part of a busy team.

The successful candidate will work with large quantities of data and will undertake secretarial duties such as booking appointments and managing correspondence. The role includes managing competing priorities, liaising with clients and other professionals .

Main duties of the job

  • processing referrals

  • opting clients into the service

  • sending out correspondence to clients and GPs

  • contacting clients to book appointments

  • recording all interactions using BHFT patient record systems

  • any other administrative tasks as directed by the business support manager

  • To support projects and ad-hoc work requirements by undertaking a variety of administration and clerical tasks
