We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who is passionate about education. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide comprehensive administrative support within our Clinical Education Team. The post holder will support the Learning Environment Lead team for 30 hours per week the Technology Enhanced Learning team for 7.5 hours per week.

The Learning Environment Lead team ensure all students are receiving quality support crucial to an excellent learning experience for pre-registration nursing and allied health professionals' students and other learners.

We aim for every student to have an outstanding learning experience and to be proud of their achievements during their placement at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BHFT) aiming to increase the recruitment and retention of students post qualifying.

The work will involve liaison with a range of clinical areas and placement leads on matters relating to student placements to ensure they are equipped to support our learners.

Working with the Technology Enhanced Learning team, the post holder will also support the administration of the Trust learning management system (LMS) Nexus eLearning. This will include updating staff course completion records and essential training audiences.

This is a hybrid role, supporting a blend of in-office and remote working. The post holder must be able to travel to multiple sites regularly based on service need.

Main duties of the job

Schedule and organise Rio training and IT accounts for all cohorts of students - within set timescales - to ensure that they are equipped for placement.

To prode administrative support for all learners on a range of student placements from start to finish to ensure their wellbeing and progression are monitored and looked after. To escalate complex student concerns to the Learning Environment Lead, when appropriate.

Maintain contact information for students, placement areas and HEI's in line with GDPR.

To work in conjunction with the Learning Environment Lead to plan the student training programme. To provide administrator support such as organising workshops, securing venues, provision of materials and arranging trainers.

To coordinate and organise Trust student inductions, student orientation sessions, Practice Assessor workshops, recruitment events and student learning days.

Support the administration of the Trust LMS Nexus eLearning. Including updating staff course completion records and essential training audiences.
