Job summary
We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team. The post provides lots of variety and as a member of the administration team you will support both Social Service and NHS staff.
The administration team's aim is to ensure that all data and administrative functions are delivered and run smoothly for the benefit of the service and its service users. Therefore, we are looking to recruit someone with excellent inter-personal skills and initiative who can work in a busy team.
Your work will range from the administration of incoming referrals, booking appointments, organising and taking minutes at a variety of meetings, supporting the team with administration of reports, assessment letters and answering incoming telephone calls from clients, their families and third parties, acting as first point of contact for the adult's mental health team in Slough.
Main duties of the job

Answering and dealing with telephone callers in a courteous manner, giving appropriate advice, taking and relaying messages accurately, processing enquiries and keeping a record of these transactions. Telephone calls may be of a sensitive nature.

To keep patient records up to date on both the Trust's electronic data base (RiO) and the local authority electronic data base. This forms a large part of the role and training will be given as required.

Organising safeguarding, best interest and general team meetings as required by Multi-Disciplinary Team compiling agendas and taking / transcribing and distributing the minutes in a timely fashion.

To undertake any typing, photocopying, scanning, collating and distribution of documents as required by the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Back up reception cover during periods of leave and sickness. This role will see you acting as first point of contact for service users and their carers. Booking clinic / meeting rooms as required.
