Occupational Therapist (based in Slough or Maidenhead)
An excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a high-quality Occupational Therapy service. We have a vacancy at our Maidenhead and Slough base.
Our service aims to help adults to continue to live at home, where your role will be to assess and manage a caseload of patients with varied and complex needs located across East Berkshire.

The ideal candidate will a registered Occupational Therapist with an interest in the rehabilitation of older adults, have great organisational skills and enjoy team working.
Main duties of the job
- Assist patients throughout the reablement process
- Assist patients in achieving their agreed goals
- Evaluate care plans and report back progress to relevant professionals suggesting appropriate changes to planned care as required
- Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and assess patients in the most appropriate environment
- Assess the activities of daily living for patients referred and implement rehabilitation programmes
- Regularly evaluate treatment programmes and update documentation
The 4 "must haves" for you to be considered for this role:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy along with HCPC registration (or soon to attain)
- Experience of working in a rehabilitation or intermediate care setting
- Car driver & possess full driver's license to be able to drive in the UK.
- Ability to participate in a 7-day rota.
