An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Administration Team for MSK CSS / IPASS (BLIS) in the role of a Band 5 Admin and Business Support Manager

This role is ideal for someone wishing to progress from a band 4 position and who would like the opportunity to develop their skill set.

The post is for 30.5 hours on a permanent contract, based at our Finchampstead Clinic, just outside of Wokingham. We are able to offer a mix of office / home working, but a strong presence on site at Finchampstead is key in this support role.

Main duties of the job

  • To support and work alongside the Admin Manager and deputise in their absence.
  • To support with the leadership in MSK CSS, alongside the Band 4 Admin Lead, inc supervision.
  • To support with the Operational / Business aspects of our services, including meeting targets and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • To work with the wider Management Team across our services, ensuring a supportive and robust Management system is in place.
  • To Support the Admin Band 4 Leads in a supervisory capacity.

Education/Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree or equivalent qualification or demonstrable level of knowledge in a relevant discipline

Desirable

  • Business or Administrative qualification (NVQ 4 in Business & Administration or equivalent) or equivalent relevant knowledge.

Previous Experience

Essential

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of using a variety of IT packages (such as MS Office) and other electronic systems (RiO, ESR, Dragon Software, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating administrative processes within a busy office and/or care environment.
  • Experience of managing data for performance and reporting purposes

Desirable

  • Experience of supervision of staff including performance and absence management.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • Advanced keyboard skills ensuring a high level of concentration, accuracy and speed
  • Excellent organisational and skills with ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Ability to produce professional documentation to a high standard
