This role sits within the Children, Family and All Age Pathways (CFAA) Division of Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new operational service role in our adult autism and ADHD services. We are looking for an experienced practitioner, with leadership experience, who is driven, passionate and excited to be part of a strategically important service provision, striving to make a real difference to our service users' lives.
The successful candidate will be influential in continuing to design and develop the service with the opportunity to shape and drive the vision and provision of the service, alongside other senior leads within the children, family and neurodiversity services.
The role will offer autonomy, variety and significant development opportunities within leadership skills. The role will also offer flexibility, with the successful candidate able to benefit from a hybrid approach to working, if desired.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience of working in a operational management role
- have excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- be able to empathise, be supportive and sensitive to the needs of others, and themselves
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be accountable for the efficient and effective day to day management of the multi-disciplinary adult autism and ADHD services across Berkshire to ensure that services are provided to the highest quality and standard within the available resources.
The post holder will deliver services that are responsive to local and national directives and need, promoting a learning culture that leads to improved service delivery and ongoing evaluation. The post holder will be responsible for the implementation of services to meet the commissioned service specifications and the key performance indicators.
The post holder will provide high level and highly complex professional and managerial advice, interpretation, guidance and instruction as requested and required where there is a need to effectively assess options and the implications of these.
