We are recruiting a band 6/7 clinical pharmacist to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team, both band 6 and band 7 applicants are welcomed. The post offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic pharmacist looking to develop their clinical skills. This post provides an ideal opportunity for either a newly qualified pharmacist or an existing and ambitious band 6 pharmacist looking for progression to a band 7 post. We will support you in your professional development, including financing a general or psychiatric certificate and/ or diploma.
Main duties of the job
- You will be supported to deliver high quality clinical pharmacy support by rotating through our inpatient wards and medicines information department.
- You will be an integral part of multidisciplinary teams, responsible for patient care.
- You will be an integral part of the pharmacy team providing clinical and operational support and participating in the pharmacy departmental rotas.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in regular quality improvement initiatives to ensure our patients are receiving the best care.
The "must haves" for you to be considered for this role:
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist
- Have a flexible approach to work in order to meet the developing needs of the pharmacy service
- Postgraduate clinical qualification and hospital experience to be considered for band 7
