Job summary
Our Physiotherapy Technicians are highly valued members of our clinical team who help us to deliver excellent care to an extremely varied cohort of patients.
We can offer flexible working hours, Monday to Friday / part time or full time / free staff parking and within walking distance of Slough train station. There is no weekend working or on-call. We support in house and funded training opportunities.
We are looking to recruit someone who can contribute to the positive culture of our team, engage with staff and patients respectfully, and conduct their work in a professional manner.
You will need to work in accordance with agreed guidelines, protocols and treatment regimes under the supervision of registered physiotherapists or osteopaths, assisting in prescribed treatment programmes for which appropriate training has been given.

Main duties of the job
Clinically, Technicians work to appointments and are utilised in providing treatment session for patients. This may involve delivering exercise sessions, hands on therapies such as massage, electrotherapy such as Ultrasound, or group-based exercise classes. Training is provided in any of the modalities used.
Our Technicians also help with the maintenance of the department and equipment, fulfilling cleaning schedules and managing stock. There is an administrative element to the job too. We are all required to document any patient contact and our Technicians can be involved with audits, service planning, and on occasion supporting the reception team.
