Job summary

We are looking for a WAM Community Nursing Team Administrator to join our CQC rated 'Outstanding' Trust. As a Community Nursing Team Administrator, you will support the Community Nursing service deliver care to people in their own homes by providing effective administrative and secretarial support to the team. Main duties of the job

  • Support the effective operation of the Community Nursing Service by providing organisational, administrative, and secretarial support to the team.
  • Be the first port of call for any IT issues within departments.
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, external organisations, and the public, dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • Attend designated meetings where the information may be complex and sensitive, taking, and transcribing minutes. Distribute information prior to and after meetings in a timely way.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good IT skills, with the ability to navigate around various systems
  • Work effectively in a team and independently, using initiative

  • NVQ2 or equivalent qualification/ experience

  • Knowledge of administration and/or office procedures and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Previous Experience

  • ECDL (European Computer Driving License) or equivalent knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages
  • Previous knowledge and experience of working in a busy office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties and supervising the work of others
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
