Want to work in a CQC outstanding trust within an established Neuropsychology Department? We have an exciting role for an experienced Clinical Psychologist or Neuropsychologist to Work on the Acute Stroke Unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital offering psychological care after stroke.
We offer peer and individual supervision and are keen to support someone to develop their skills. There may be opportunities to supervise other members of staff. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with different professions and sharing their skills and training. Main duties of the job
The primary responsibilities for the post would be to administer neuropsychological assessment, and the deliver psychological and neuropsychological interventions. In addition to this core work, the post provides opportunities for multi-disciplinary team work, staff consultation and training, audit, and service development.
Based on the candidate's needs, there can also be opportunities for increase in hours working in an outpatient neuropsychology clinic providing assessment for clients with cognitive and emotional difficulties follow a neurological event (e.g. Acquired Brain Injury, epilepsy, MS). Current opportunities will be discussed during the interview.
