Job summary

Following the success of our Global Digital Exemplar Programme and subsequent accreditation we are now building on those strong foundations with our 5-year digital strategy programme. This will enable continued growth of our digital footprint, integrate wherever possible and empower our patients and staff to harness the opportunities digital enablement has to offer.

This opportunity will put you at the forefront of digital innovation. Are you someone who relishes being a member of an established, collaborative, and motivated team who can lead on the delivery of digital change in a dynamic and ambitious organisation? A team where the art of the possible is at its core? Where each challenge is always an opportunity to improve patient care and staff satisfaction and reduce clunky processes that hinder delivering the best possible care to all?

If this vision makes you thirsty to be part of something exciting, you have an open mind to technology, team working, stakeholder engagement and true benefits realisation, then this may be the post for you......

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide lead transformational change support to staff and teams with a focus for delivering successful change projects within the organisation. The primary function is to support the Trust and staff to implement and optimise current and future digital systems and technologies and coordinate transformation activities to facilitate and implement changes to ensure project objectives are achieved and benefits are realised. As a Trust identified as a Global Digital Exemplar (GDE), the role will be directly involved in transformation activities connected to the GDE Programme.

The post holder will lead on individual pieces of work directly with clinical services and also as part of a team overseeing larger change activities supported by Transformation Specialists. As a lead, you will have line management responsibility and will be encouraged to develop your leadership skills. The workload is varied and in addition to the GDE role, involves supporting business as usual (BAU) activities by taking forward requests for changes to Rio (the primary clinical record used within the Trust) and support other digital systems that have been implemented within the Trust. Work within the Transformation team follows recognised change and benefits management methodology and focuses on people and processes to deliver successful change outcomes.
