Main duties of the job
o work within an exciting new project that aims to support individuals with identified needs on release from prison known as "Reconnect". The Reconnect project will operate under the wider auspices of the Thames Valley Liaison & Diversion Service
The postholder will remain flexible working across the Thames Valley to support the management of a small team and the day to day running of the Reconnect project.
The postholder will ensure the team respond professionally to all requests for information and assistance, whether in person or by phone, using discretion as to appropriateness of requests and being aware of confidentiality and information sharing guidelines at all times.
This information may be complex, sensitive or contentious requiring negotiation, persuasive and discernment skills. The successful candidate will work closely with criminal justice partners to coordinate support for individuals in the community, on release from prison according to their identified needs.

- A professional qualification at degree level or equivalent in either Mental Health or Learning disabilities nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapist, Social Work or Psychology
- Hold current registration with pertinent body (RMN, SW, SALT, OT, BPS)
- Evidence of post registration training and development
- Practice Assessor qualification or equivalent teaching qualification.
