Job summary
We are looking for 2 x part-time (0.6wte, 3 days a week, working core hours 9am - 5pm) CAMHS Band 3 Administrators. You would be part of a small, friendly admin team based in Wokingham Hospital and then moving to the University of Reading Whiteknights Campus, with free parking. You will need to be an accurate typist, have previous administrative experience and confidence in using Microsoft packages.

Berkshire CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) is a multi-disciplinary community-based service that serves a child population of approximately 300,000 across the County. The teams comprise of child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, art/play therapists, social workers and Primary Mental Health Workers.
Main duties of the job
- Working as part of an administrative team, you will support our clinicians in sending out correspondence and booking appointments. You will answer emails and telephone calls, following up actions where required.
- Covering Reception, greeting families who are attending their clinic appointments.
- You will need to be experienced in diary management and confident in using the full Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- You will also be required to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team.
- The ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.
- You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post.
- Carry out day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with sensitive and challenging phone calls.
- Able to work effectively in a team.
- Confident in IT skills and using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, with accurate typing skills.
