We are looking for an experienced midwife who has a passion about clinical leadership and excellence to join our senior Midwifery team in the role of Integrated Community Midwifery Manager. The successful candidate will be driven, motivated and independently minded clinical professional who is able to act on their own initiative within agreed guidelines, adopting a values led, proactive leadership style within a climate of change to support the implementation of plans, performance, quality, care and compassion within the midwifery service.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work alongside, the Integrated Community Midwifery Team Leaders, Ward Managers and Matrons, implementing quality improvement initiatives and monitoring the service to ensure a safe and high standard of care in line with the trust values. They will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of the recommendations of the Ockenden report, CQC actions, Maternity Incentive Scheme, Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle alongside the national three-year delivery plan for maternity and neonatal services. Emphasis on the areas of patient safety, experience and engagement and clinical outcomes will be essential.
The successful candidate will be taking responsibility for Integrated Community Midwifery service pathways. Theywill be an experienced midwife with varied post qualification midwifery experience, strong leadership qualities, a positive approach, and the ability to exercise initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required as will the ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the governance, quality and safety and health inequalities agendas.
