Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our well-established Rapid Response Respiratory Team at Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Respiratory Team are a team of Respiratory Nurses and Physiotherapists who provide a range of different services to patients with chronic Respiratory disease with the aim of preventing hospital admissions and supporting patients post hospital discharge. We also provide and manage an Acute Respiratory Illness Virtual ward, disease management clinics, and the management of long-term oxygen therapy.
As a Band 6 Respiratory Nurse Specialist you would be responsible for supporting these services covering shiftsfrom 08:30 to 19:30 over 7 days a week.

Main duties of the job
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of evidence-based care.
Participate in the education for patients and staff.
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of the patients and their families.
Participate in improvement of services and the quality-of-care provision.
