Job summary
The Haematology department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Laboratory Support Worker to join our friendly team.
As a Support Worker you will be working with Biomedical Scientists and Consultant Haematologists to provide excellent patient care in a busy laboratory.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include receiving specimens, performing tests on blood samples and using I.T skills to operate the LIMS system. The post holder will also be involved with basic maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment, and stock monitoring.
