Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist (22.5 hours) to join our specialist and established Pelvic and Breast Health Physiotherapy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care across pelvic health and breast health pathways for women and men.
As a Band 7 Physiotherapist, you will manage a complex specialist caseload and contribute across the four pillars of practice: advanced clinical practice, leadership, education and research/service development. You will support staff and patient training/teaching, service development and student education. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert assessment, treatment and advice and to continually improve patient care.
Main duties of the job

Provide highly specialist, evidence-based assessment and treatment for women's and men's pelvic health and breast health patients with complex needs.

Manage a specialist caseload autonomously, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning and professional accountability.

Contribute to service development across the pelvic and breast health pathways in line with the four pillars of practice.

Promote evidence-based practice through audit, evaluation and quality improvement activity.

Provide expert advice, education and support to patients, carers and health care professionals within the multidisciplinary team.

Support the teaching, supervision and development of junior staff and physiotherapy students.

Work proactively and collaboratively with clinicians and managers to improve service effectiveness, efficiency and use of resources.

Demonstrate flexibility, initiative and adaptability, including working across hospital and community settings.
