Main duties of the job
Communication & Support
- Answer calls and respond to enquiries promptly.
- Provide advice and guidance in line with national standards.
- Welcome visitors and address their queries.
- Adapt communication methods to support staff in stressful situations.
Administration
- Manage bookings and maintain accurate records.
- Produce reports and type correspondence using Big Hand digital dictation.
- Organise meetings, take minutes, and distribute notes.
- Maintain filing systems and stock control.
Service Development
- Assist with campaigns and events, including data evaluation and diary coordination.
- Support creation of standard operating procedures.
- Participate in meetings and training to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Other Duties
- Undertake general administrative tasks (mail handling).
- Work outside normal hours when required.
