An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Women's Health Division of Warrington and Halton Hospital NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible support worker to join in our team.
Main duties of the job
As an Infant Feeding Maternity Support Worker you will support to fully implement UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative enabling Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust to achieve full accreditation. The Infant Feeding Maternity Support Worker will support our infant feeding team to deliver high quality, family-centred support to the population of Warrington & Halton.
As we work towards our Level 2 BFI Accreditation, the post holder will work closely with our Infant Feeding Lead, providing information, demonstrating good practices and working with families, which promotes and supports breastfeeding locally. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with staff and community services to implement & uphold the UNICEF BFI standards.
You will be required to possess an NVQ Level 3 in care and demonstrate excellent communication and caring skills to ensure our women and babies receive the highest quality of care.
