Job summary
Warrington and Halton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a full time LAS ST1-2 in Colorectal and Breast. The successful applicants will be required for a 6-month fixed term contract from February 2026 to August 2026 and will participate in the General Surgery 1:10 emergency on-call rota at ST1-2 level.
Main duties of the job
General Surgery on Calls
You will be expected to participate in a 1 in 10 on-call rota providing emergency Surgery both within and out of hours on weekdays and weekends. The Trust has a very efficient system of managing emergency surgical admissions 24/7. The on-call rota includes cover of Urology and ENT (out of hours).
