Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician to join our Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team as a Clinical Practice Lead.
This role offers the chance to develop your clinical leadership skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, while contributing to high-quality, person-centred care for older people and their families.
As Clinical Practice Lead, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight, support staff to deliver safe and effective care, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in line with Trust values. You will play a key role in driving service improvement and enhancing patient experience.
The Job description is currently under review by DPT to ensure it is aligned and the right support structure and oversight is provided.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated clinician with strong older persons mental health experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion forteam development, quality improvement, and compassionate care.
You will need to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Co-ordinate and investigate complaints and clinical practice performance issue: taking action as necessary ensuring that any clinical lessons learned are identified and disseminated to teams and the older peoples directorate which includes learning from experience and clinical effectiveness meeting.
You will be expected to role model clinical leadership, have a visible presence and promote, develop high standards of clinical care.
