Devon Partnership NHS Trust

Business Support Administrator

The closing date is 02 February 2026

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced Business Support Administrator within the Devon & Cornwall Liaison & Diversion (L&D) team (which forms part of the Integrated Non-Custodial Service (IN-CS))

The L&D service stands apart from traditional community mental health services and as an all-age service, it engages with individuals at the very beginning of their journey through the criminal justice system, typically when they first come to the attention of the police and are arrested. The practitioners carry out initial assessments, provide guidance and support individuals as they navigate the justice process until a resolution is achieved. People facing a wide range of vulnerabilities, including substance misuse, homelessness, social challenges, learning disabilities and mental health needs are supported by the team. The service further serves as a referral point and offers proactive follow-up to ensure service users can access and are supported in attending treatment and rehabilitation appointments. Our overarching goal is to enhance health and well-being, reduce vulnerability and lower the risk of re-offending.

The team is based in Exeter and offers flexible hybrid working arrangements based on business requirements.

Main duties of the job

Working within the IN-CS service, the post holder will provide administrative support to the L&D team which will include but is not limited to data entry, processing referrals, supporting clinicians, accurate minute taking and distribution, diary management, procurement, frequently inputting sensitive data of the service users onto the patient records system, managing inboxes, supporting the team managers. Providing administrative support to the other teams within the service could also be requested from time to time.
