Business Support Administrator

Job summary

The Tiverton Adult Community Mental Health Team is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and multi-skilled administrator to join its busy administration team. The team supports Community Mental Health Clinicians across the Mid Devon area. Training will be given where necessary to support you in your development within this role. The role is full-time and will be based at Tiverton Hospital.

Main duties of the job

You will undertake administration of all office tasks in supporting the Community team.

Main tasks will include answering calls to patients, when you will often be the first port of call; working from a shared email inbox, keeping Excel spreadsheets updated, generating letters and reports, uploading these onto our patient record system. There will be a requirement to prepare agendas for meetings and take minutes.

You will require excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, be able to remain calm and professional during busy times or when handling difficult situations, and have the ability to adapt to constant changes within the NHS.
