Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to lead the pilot for a centralised administration hub to co-ordinate physical health monitoring activity in the North Devon area, this will include holding central records of all patients who require physical health monitoring whatever service is supporting them, booking appointments, managing DNAs and reporting against KPIs.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator with excellent IT, communication, organisational and management skills.
We are offering a 22.5 hour per week (0.6 WTE) secondment. Approval will be needed from your line manager for you to be able to take up this position as a secondment.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder's role will be to work in partnership with the Project Team and North Devon clinical and administrative staff to develop and test the idea of centralising administration for Physical Health monitoring by locality. This will include project management support and team leadership.
The post-holder will set up and run the ACC including:
- Liaising with the clinical teams to understand what they are currently offering and how the central team could support
- Setting up the ACC as a team across all necessary systems
- Designing processes consulting with administrative, clinical and digital leads as required
- Recruiting, training and line-managing 1.6 B3 BSA on a fixed-term contract
- Managing the ACC for the duration of the pilot
- You will need to be system-focussed as a big part of the project will be exploring the possibility of working across Directorates where the patient records are held in different units within SystmOne.
Interest is invited from DPT administrators currently working at Band 3, Band 4 or Band 5.
