We're recruiting 2x full time equivalent positions in our South Hams & West Devon Team (based in Tavistock and Ivybridge) and our Exeter City Team (based in Exeter). In this senior position, you will work closely with your Clinical Team Lead and hold oversight of your team of PWPs.
A key part of your role will be supporting, developing and managing staff; celebrating achievements, providing guidance, and ensuring that high standards of clinical practice are consistently met.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills, discover and refine your managerial style, and gain experience in supporting the delivery of evidence-based, interventions for people with common mental health difficulties. You will be supported with access to regular supervision, training, and opportunities to collaborate with senior colleagues across the service.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will
- Offer evidence-based practice in low intensity CBT interventions.
- Develop, support and train innovative practice to trainee NHS Talking Therapies psychological well-being practitioners.
- The post holder will be available to offer day to day coaching, advice and support to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners in their locality and where necessary in other localities- covering for colleagues.
- Deliver significant case management, and clinical supervision to psychological well-being practitioners and trainees.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for the development of low intensity services to share their interest and passion, and to develop these qualities and skills in others.
- The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and will work in various community settings.
- The post holder will line manage Psychological Well Being Practitioners and trainees under the direction of the Clinical Team Manager.
- Participate in activities of continuing professional development (CPD) on an annual basis.
- Will contribute to the smooth running of the referral receipt and coordination part of the service.
