We invite you to join us as a Trust grade Junior Doctor to be based on
Salus Ward and Cypress ward in south Devon. The post holder will be available
9-5 Monday to Friday. The job plan includes 3 days at Salus and 2 days at
Cypress ward

Main duties of the job
The routine work
involves assessing new patients, completing comprehensive biopsychosocial
assessment and risk assessment with the support of the MDT. This will also ensure a persons physical
health needs are met. Attending and
documenting MDT reviews will be an opportunity to develop skills in management
of complex presentations to mental health service. Part of the role will be ensuring that
appropriate information is shared with Primary Care colleagues and others in
terms of ensuring continuity of care, plus communicating well with patients,
their families and carers and all other members of the MDT.
