Job summary
The Service Manager for Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment plays a pivotal leadership role in delivering urgent, recovery-focused mental health care to individuals experiencing acute psychological distress. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CRHT service, ensuring the provision of high-quality, person-centred care that supports individuals in their own homes as an alternative to hospital admission.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Service Manager ensures that services are responsive, safe, and aligned with national and local priorities. They lead on service development, workforce planning, and performance monitoring, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate care. The role also involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care pathways and effective crisis intervention.

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as Service Manager for Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment (CRHT) on a 2-year fixed term basis. This pivotal role sits at the heart of our Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment care pathway and offers the chance to make a lasting impact on how we support individuals in mental health crisis across our communities.
Working under the direction of the General Manager, the postholder will lead the operational delivery and ongoing development of the CRHT service. This includes ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently, while also driving innovation and transformation across the pathway. The role will be instrumental in shaping how we respond to crisis, reduce hospital admissions, and enhance home-based treatment options.
As the service spans the full geography of the Trust, the postholder will be expected to travel across sites to provide visible leadership and ensure consistency of service delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for service improvement, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to collaborative working. You will work closely with clinical leads, multidisciplinary teams, and system partners to co-design and implement new models of care that are responsive, sustainable, and aligned with national priorities.
