We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Maintenance Supervisor to join the existing Estates Team.
The purpose of the role will be have responsibility of the direct employed labour team and to support the Head of Estates to ensure the Trust's building/electrical/mechanical equipment are maintained to statutory and mandatory standards. Ensuring the delivery of planned, reactive, emergency maintenance and minor works in agreed timescales providing a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff and visitors.

- Manage and organise the effective provision of day to day maintenance, planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure all land, buildings, plant and non-medical equipment is maintained in a safe, economic and efficient condition.
- Support the directly employed labour with all HR, Occupational Health, general wellbeing and welfare. This also includes fulfilling requirements relating to the training and instruction of craftsmen and apprentices and other personnel temporarily attached to the Department.
- Liaising with other disciplines.
- Work with the Head of Estates and Operational Estates Lead to develop new policy and procedures for the service.
- Authorise payments to contractors via the Trusts payment system (Agresso).
- To use the Trusts CAFM systems for records management, placing of purchase orders via Agresso and monitoring of specific works requests.
- Management of stock control.
