Job summary

We are seeking a full time Band 3 Administrator for our North Devon & Exeter Perinatal Community Teams; this is an exciting opportunity to join our team of administrators & perinatal mental health professionals based in West Pilton Health & Wellbeing Clinic, Barnstaple.

Devon Partnership Trust Perinatal Service is a well-established one & nationally awarded (Positive Practice in Mental Health - Community Perinatal Team 2016 winner). We have close working partnerships with our local Maternity & Health Visiting colleagues. We will provide on-going managerial supervision & development opportunities where appropriate.

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude towards working in the field of mental health, is able to work alongside others within the team. Alongside general administration duties, the role will include, receiving and prioritising phone calls from women/birthing people who are using our service, family members and also professionals inside and outside of Devon partnership trust. Also there will be a requirement to use a number of different Trust computer systems and be able to produce high quality written information.

Main duties of the job

Administration services underpin all of our clinical activity at Devon Partnership NHS Trust, which means our dedicated and enthusiastic administration workforce is vital to the delivery of first class care.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the assigned team. There will be an expectation for the post holder to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational skills. The post holder will have high standard of skills using Microsoft Office packages and experience of using bespoke IT systems.

The post holder will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes. They will need to be able to work within a team effectively and share work streams across the Perinatal Service where appropriate. The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.
