We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in Organisational Development or Learning and Development within a complex organisation.

  • Can confidently design and deliver a range of OD solutions, from leadership programmes to organisational design workshops.

  • Brings strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Is passionate about people development and creating healthy, respectful workplace cultures.

  • Thrives in a collaborative, forward-thinking team and is committed to continuous learning and development.

Main duties of the job

As an Organisational Development Practitioner, you will:

  • Support the OD Manager in the design and delivery of impactful leadership and development programmes that build compassionate leadership capacity across the organisation.

  • Lead and support OD interventions to help teams navigate change, improve performance, and enhance team dynamics.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the Trust, using your exceptional communication skills to build relationships and influence outcomes.

  • Act as a coach and mentor as part of our growing coaching and mentoring network.

  • Promote and embed psychological safety, inclusivity, and restorative practice into your work with teams and individuals.

This is a flexible role that includes home-based working and regular travel to sites across beautiful Devon for in-person programme delivery.

Essential

  • Appropriate postgraduate professional diploma in L&D/OD (CIPD) or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Qualified in facilitation of psychometric testing (e.g. MBTI/Belbin/Insights)
  • Educated to degree level in a training, learning or business-related discipline or have equivalent demonstrable experience
  • IT Skills excellent word and excel skills

Desirable

  • CIPD Membership
  • Coaching and or mentoring qualification or relevant experience
  • Qualifications at GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language
  • Project Management (PRINCE 2 or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of project management tools and techniques
  • Coordinating and managing training and learning activities.
